The third instalment of popular Netflix superhero show Umbrella Academy is on the horizon, comprising 10 episodes lasting one hour each.

Currently, all we know is that the third season will most likely be coming out in late 2021, but a release date has not been pinpointed just yet.

Will there be another season of Umbrella Academy?

We’ve got our fingers crossed for a season four, but this will depend on how well the third one goes. The second season received glowing reviews when it came out in summer 2020.

We don’t know too much at present, but Tom Hopper teased that there could be plenty of new characters, fresh relationships and another world to explore.

Fans are also keen to find out more about the Sparrow Academy, which was teased at the end of season two.

So far, we know that cast members David Castaneda, Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, Ritu Arya, Colm Feore and Justin H Min will all be returning.

Fans are hoping for the return of Jordan Claire Robbins, Ken Hall and Adam Godley, with Kate Walsh being less likely.

As production has not begun yet, there is not a trailer yet – but this is likely to be released around a month before the show makes its debut on Netflix.
