Fans of The Walking Dead have been waiting patiently to watch the season 10 finale since March, when the coronavirus pandemic disrupted the release schedule. Now, finally, there might be some news to get excited about.
While all we know for certain at the moment is that the finale will be airing sometime this year, The Walking Dead will be making an appearance at Comic-Con@Home on Friday (July 24th). The panel is set to focus on the season finale, which is titled ‘A Certain Doom’. It’s likely we’ll be getting more details on the release then. You can catch the panel on YouTube at 4pm ET.
On the season finale, showrunner Angela Kang said: ‘We’re almost at that finish line. They’re trying to finish what they can, and then once things are up and running, we’ll finish it out and air it’. This is good news, especially as the delay was due to postproduction work, not the need for any additional filming.
The finale will see the epic clash between the Whisperers and Hilltop, the Kingdom, Oceanside and Alexandria. ‘A Certain Doom’ also promises the return of Lauren Cohan’s Maggie, as well as appearances from new characters Princess (Paola Lázaro) and Virgil (Kevin Carroll).
For now, you can catch up with The Walking Dead on Netflix. When the series finale airs, you’ll be able to stream it live via fuboTV. With their 7 day free trial, you’ll even be able to watch it free of charge, as well as have access to hundreds of other live channels – including NBC, Paramount Network and more.
