Apple’s fourth quarter earnings have been revealed this week, and the data shows that its revenue from ‘services’ took just three years to double.
In the earnings report it was revealed that Apple’s revenue in this area was $12.5 billion. The sector includes digital services such as iCloud, AppleCare, Apple Music, News+ and the iTunes Store.
The number is equivalent to a large company with roughly $62 billion in revenue if this were the only branch of its offerings, according to Forbes.
Forbes states that, in comparison, Salesforce reported a record $13 billion in revenue for its fiscal year which ended on the last day of January.
Meanwhile, Disney reported roughly $50.5 billion in revenue across the board in its Q3 earnings report.
