MLB Opening Day is on the horizon, with a start date of March 26 2020. All 30 teams are set to play on the day for the third season running.
Despite coronavirus concerns, the spring training schedule will play out, followed by the regular season, as planned. However, media access will be limited.
In other words, clubhouses won’t be open anymore, and players will make themselves available to reporters during events such as press conferences. This policy is in place with the NBA, NHL and MLS also.
