Nat Geo Wild is a channel which focuses on non-fiction programs that have wildlife and natural history at the forefront. Its full name is National Geographic Wild, and as you may have guessed, it’s owned by National Geographic Partners. This venture came about as a partnership between the National Geographic Society and The Walt Disney Company, the latter of whom have a majority stake in the business.

The sister channels for this network include National Geographic and Nat Geo People, and it has been around since 2010 in the US. It first launched in Asia back in 2006, and has since expanded to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, France, Italy, Latin America, India, Romania, Australia, Malaysia, Spain, Japan and Canada.
