Sports fans have most likely heard of SEC Network, as this channel covers collegiate sports which are sanctioned by the SEC (also known as the Southeastern Conference). The types of content which are programmed on the schedule include telecasts (both live and recorded), analysis, news and more. This channel is owned by ESPN and exists as part of a partnership between Hearst Communications and The Walt Disney Network – the latter of whom owns a controlling stake in the venture. The channel has been around since 2014 and offers content in 720p, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Its sister networks include ESPN, ESPNU, ACC Network and Longhorn Network.
