Amazon Prime Video has been working on a thriller called Hunters, and we now know that it will make its debut on the streaming platform on February 21. The show follows a group of Nazi hunters in New York in 1977.

The series stars Al Pacino, who is an Oscar winner known for The Godfather, The Irishman and Scent of a Woman. It has been executive produced by Oscar winner Jordan Peele.

Hunters was created by David Weil, whose grandmother was a Holocaust survivor. Speaking to EW, he described her stories as akin to those found in a comic book, with ‘grand good versus grand evil, and that became the lens through which I saw the Holocaust.’

The first scenes of the series will see a comic book shop clerk called Jonah being recruited by Meyer Offerman to join the Hunters. When they learn that high-ranking Nazis are working towards the creation of a Fourth Reich in the US, they work together to prevent another genocide and see justice prevail.

Other stars you will see in the series include Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin.
