Overview

Disney Junior is part of the Walt Disney Television media trust. It is a pay TV network located in the United States. The channel’s programming schedule consists of theatrical films, original series and home movies. Disney Junior is watched in over 74 million households across the United States, according to statistics from January 2016.

Between 2011 and 2017, Disney Junior associated its name with its sister network, Disney Channel. In other words, it was known as Disney Junior on Disney Channel. The programming block aired weekdays from 6am to 2pm during the school break periods.

Channel Guide

The Disney Junior channel offers original series, such as Vampirina, shows that were broadcast on the Playhouse Disney block, such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and reruns of old original shows such as Doc McStuffins. Furthermore, the Disney Junior channel has a sister network, ABS, where it picks up old animated series and rebroadcasts them.

The diversity of the TV channel does not stop here, as it also broadcasts preschool shows that are not part of the Disney world such as Bluey or PJ Masks. At the request of the community, during the overnight graveyard slot, other animated series are taken from Toon Disney or Disney Channel and played to Disney Junior fans.
