Disney Plus fans have been excited to discover that the streaming service is hosting a free Drive In Festival across the country. The new way of viewing movies has come about in an effort to combat restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

When some of Disney’s major film releases for 2020 were forced to be released on their streaming platform, they decided to provide a festival experience for subscribers residing in the Southern California region.

The festival first began on October 5 and will be running until October 12 – and the good news is that the tickets are completely free of charge. By heading over to the Disney Plus Drive In website, users will be placed in a queue.

When they are at the top of the queue, they will be able to claim a spot, with reservations being offered on a first come first serve basis. Reservations first opened on September 28 at 10am PST.

For those who aren’t able to nab a ticket or who don’t reside in this part of the US, an online subscription to Disney Plus can still be purchased for just $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year, so there’s no need to miss out on the latest releases.

From classic flicks to Marvel movies and more. Watch at home or on the go with no fixed contract.
