Popular Disney movie Frozen 2 is being added to the Disney Plus streaming platform months earlier than originally planned.
Instead of waiting until June to release the streaming edition of the film, it will be available on the streamer from Sunday.
Disney CEO Bob Chapek said: ‘Frozen 2 has captivated audiences around the world through its powerful themes of perseverance and the importance of family, messages that are incredibly relevant during this time, and we are pleased to be able to share this heartwarming story early with our Disney+ subscribers to enjoy at home on any device.’
Apart from this movie, Disney has stuck to its normal schedule for movies. In other words, films are added to the platform around seven months after being shown in theatres.
Frozen 2 is the sequel to Frozen, which has been marked as the number one animated movie of all time. The cast stars Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel.
