The most recent season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way has seen Jenny travel to India in order to marry her online love Sumit. While there were tense moments as the pair waited for his divorce to be finalised, there were eventually happy moments to be had.
Fans of the show will know that Sumit was forced into an arranged marriage while he was dating Jenny long-distance. Although he wasn’t happy in the marriage, he felt pressured to please his parents and stayed married for three years.
The bad times came when he filed for divorce, only to have his wife file charges of abuse against him. What’s more, Sumit’s father in law demanded he pay back the $20,000 which went on the wedding in order for them to part ways amicably.
While he was full of anxiety going to court, he learned that his wife had withdrawn the case – and all of the criminal charges were dropped by the judge. Another court case was coming up, but he was then able to call Jenny and tell her that his divorce was going through.
