Now that Thanksgiving is over, people are naturally looking forward to Christmas – and one of the major events is the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center Plaza in New York City.

Despite the restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic, the event is still going ahead and it will be easy for US citizens to follow along by streaming at home.

Tune in tonight, Wednesday December 2, from 8pm ET for the event. It’s easy to stream with a seven day free trial of fuboTV as no spectators will be allowed at the ceremony.

Moving forward, the tree will be lit between 6am and 12am, with a full 24 hour run on Christmas Day. People will be able to visit it from tomorrow.

Tonight Craig Melvin is hosting the ceremony with Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. You can also expect performances from Kelly Clarkson, Dolly Parton, Meghan Trainor, Gwen Stefani and more.
