The latest Disney Pixar movie is now upon us, and its title is Luca. The story focuses on kids enjoying their summer in Italy, but the twist is they are actually sea monsters. The title character wants to explore the surface world despite his parents’ warnings.
However, Luca’s best friend Alberto is not afraid to go up to the surface and so the pair embark on an exciting, yet dangerous adventure. The director for Luca is a native Italian named Enrico Casarosa, who also worked on Cars and Up.
Luca is out today, Friday June 18 2021, and it can be streamed on Disney+. Originally, viewers could enjoy a free trial of the streaming service, but this is unfortunately no longer the case. The cheapest way to get started is to pay $7.99 a month.
Alternatively, there is a Disney bundle going for $13.99 a month, or users can check out the annual package for $79.99 a year. The service provides titles from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more.
