A new series has just come out, and it’s called Barkskins. The drama series looks at the deforestation of the New World.
The story focuses on two immigrants who go to New France and work as wood cutters. It is based on the novel from Annie Proulx.
Top cast members include Aneurin Barnard as Hamish Goames and Christian Cooke as Rene Sel. The first season comprises ten episodes.
The series made its debut on National Geographic on May 25, 2020. This may lead people to thinking it can be streamed on Disney Plus.
