There is now a new streaming service available, and those who are fans of reality TV, entertainment and true crime will be spoilt for choice with its content offering.

Discovery+ is live in the US, with over 55,000 episodes from popular shows on TLC, HGTV, Food Network and more. There are also many original series in the pipeline.

The platform is available to stream on Firestick, unlike HBO Max – which went through ongoing negotiations with Amazon and only just landed a deal.

To download discovery+ on Firestick, go to the Amazon app store and search for the platform. Then you will be able to sign up or log into your existing account.

There is currently a seven day free trial in place for new customers, and from there the platform will cost $4.99 a month with ads or $6.99 a month for the ad free experience.
