There is a new Kim Kardashian West show out and it’s called The Justice Project.
In the Oxygen documentary special, Kim discussed Dawn Jackson and Alexis Martin.
Since Kim oversaw the release of Alice Marie Johnson, two letters which came to her asking for help came from these people.
Jackson’s letter included a story of how she had been a victim of abuse from multiple family members and took her step-grandfather’s life in ‘a necessary act to defend myself’.
Kim said that when she read the letter, ‘I cried…she detailed her abuse. You can understand her journey and feel her pain…the system failed her.’
Meanwhile, Martin said she was sex trafficked by Angelo Kerney at 14 years old. Kerney was shot dead in 2013 when two of Martin’s friends went to rob him.
Martin was arrested for Kerney’s murder and she was tried as an adult. The court ruling was that not enough evidence was in place to prove the trafficking was related to the shooting.
