Watching Harry Potter movies online has been difficult in recent years, but then it became possible for those in America to access all eight of them in one place.
Summer 2020 saw HBO Max launch, which meant that the entire franchise became available for on-demand streaming with a monthly subscription.
The joy was short-lived, as WarnerMedia had its contract end in late August and the movies disappeared after three months.
Now fans are looking for the movies on platforms like Netflix, Disney Plus and Hulu – but the titles have actually been on Peacock.
What’s more, not only has Universal held the exclusive digital and on-air rights in recent years, all of the classic movies could be watched for free.
Now the movies have left the platform, and are available on NBC and Universal’s broadcast and cable networks, plus their websites.
The films will be back on Peacock in early 2021, but an official date has not been released just yet.
For those sick of chasing the movies for on demand streaming, they can be purchased or rented online using platforms such as Google Play, iTunes, Prime Video and Fandango Now.
