Plenty of Roku fans will be happy with their Streaming Stick+, but there is a new model coming to the market which is being rebranded as the Streaming Stick 4K.
The device will still cost $49.99 for those who are considering getting their first Roku stick, and this time around they will benefit from improvements such as better speed, higher quality WiFi and Dolby Vision support.
While there is also a Roku Voice Remote with TV controls included, just as was the case with the Roku Streaming Stick+, there is additionally a bundle available for consumers to purchase which means they will get the new stick plus the Roku Voice Remote Pro.
The new bundle will set shoppers back an additional $20, as the price is $69.99, but they will be saving $10 compared with buying both products separately. Those who go for this model will enjoy additional convenience such as the ability to plug the stick directly into the HDMI port on the back of television sets.
That isn’t the only upgrade Roku has been working on, as the Roku Ultra LT has also undergone an overhaul. The improvements people can expect include a longer WiFi range by 50%, more storage and a better processor.
These new models will be available from mid October, and those who make a purchase for the remainder of the year will be able to claim a deal whereby they get a 30 day free trial of HBO Max. Those who want the Roku Ultra LT will need to head down to Walmart, as this is the only vendor which supplies that particular model.
