Those who are on the lookout for a Roku remote which features a rechargeable battery may be about to get their wish.
A Reddit user recently photographed an offer which allows them access into an Early Access Program which will help the company to ‘perfect our newest remote’.
Features which come with the new product include a rechargeable battery, lost remote finder, hands-free voice control, personal shortcuts and private listening with separately sold headphones.
The remote in the offer has been promoted at the price of $29.99, with an expected shipping date of February 19.
The offer has been neither confirmed nor denied by Roku, with a spokesperson telling The Streamable: ‘We’re always working on bringing new products and features to Roku users, and part of that process is publicly testing new ideas with a small set of our customers.’
