The Witcher star Henry Cavill apparently refused to leave the set of the Netflix show for weeks at a time while he was acting as Gerald of Rivia.
Executive producer Tomasz Baginski told ComicBook that ‘In Hungary, he spent weeks sleeping in a trailer right by the set.
‘He didn’t go back to the hotel in Budapest which saved him an hour every day, but mostly it meant that during the whole time he was in the Witcher world.’
The series stars Cavill as a supernatural monster hunter, and has been dubbed the platform’s version of Game of Thrones.
Andrzej Sapkowski, author of the original fantasy novel saga, said that the series has huge potential, revealing: ‘Yesterday I witnessed for the first time the screening of the trailer of The Witcher series.
‘If the series will be as beautiful as the trailer, we will have a masterpiece.’
