Disney Plus subscribers are currently hooked on the live action series The Mandalorian, and there is one new character who is causing a viral sensation – Baby Yoda.
Posting a screenshot of the young Yoda, a Twitter user said: ‘I would lay my life down for baby Yoda.’
Another said ‘Experienced baby fever for the first time ever today while watching baby Yoda. If anything happens to him, be ready to see the entire world burn.’
The character was subject to some controversy on social media though, with some saying that the baby isn’t the Yoda fans know from the Star Wars movies but a separate being.
One person said: ‘If I see another post saying this is Yoda I’m gonna scream this ain’t him it’s the same species as him but it ain’t him the show is set 5 years after Return of the Jedi.’
