If you’re a soccer fan, you’ll know that Italy’s Serie A took a 103 day break due to the coronavirus pandemic. The good news is, the 2019-2020 season is back – and continues today with Atalanta v Bologna and Sassuolo v AC Milan.
ESPN will show the games, with Atalanta v Bologna at 1:30pm ET and Sassuolo v AC Milan at 3:45pm ET.
If Atalanta want to catch Juventus, they have to win today’s match. Atalanta have won seven out of their last nine games – drawing the other two – and have been playing fantastically this season. On the other hand, Bologna are in the mid-table with little chance of reaching the top six, so have less motivation going into tonight’s game.
Meanwhile, AC Milan have been playing consistently well this season, winning six and drawing two of their last eight matches – in comparison, Sassuolo’s last eight matches have been four wins and four draws.
