As we near the end of season four of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, people are keen to know about how Big Ed’s love story with Rose Vega from the Philippines pans out.
The 54 year old photographer from San Diego travelled to the Philippines to meet his 23 year old online love, who he had met on Facebook. However, their time together was turbulent to say the least.
Rose was initially surprised that Ed lied about his height, saying he was 5 foot 2 like her when he was actually 4 foot 11. Then he asked her to take an STI test when she wouldn’t discuss her past relationships.
More recent episodes have seen the two have a final argument over Ed not saying he doesn’t want more kids, and Rose deciding she is done with him before leaving the hotel resort they have been staying in.
As viewers have watched Big Ed, they have wondered what his neck condition is. Big Ed has a condition called Klippel-Feil syndrome, which limits his range of movement and leads to an appearance of having ‘no neck’.
The condition, which is congenital, leads to an enlarged chest cavity due to two out of the seven neck vertebrae fusing together.
