Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson’s production company, Appian Way, has signed a first-look film and TV deal with Apple.
Apple TV+ is already set to stream the upcoming Martin Scorsese-directed film Killers of the Flower Moon, which stars DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, after reaching a deal with Paramount – who will distribute the film to theaters.
Appian Way’s Shining Girls TV series, which will feature DiCaprio and The Handmaid’s Tale star Elisabeth Moss, is also headed to Apple TV+.
Apple have several other deals with studios and stars alike – Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Oprah Winfrey, Alfonso Cuaron, Idris Elba, A24 and more have signed deals with the company.
Appian Way has previously produced successful films like The Revenant, The Aviator, The Wolf of Wall Street and Shutter Island, so whatever is up next for Apple TV+ via this deal, we can expect it to be high quality.
