Fans of Star Trek: Discovery may find the show is one of many recent casualties of the coronavirus outbreak.
The show is currently in post-production, so there is a chance that season 3’s release could be delayed as COVID-19 spreads.
The second season aired on CBS All Access between January and April 2019. Many had anticipated a 2020 release of the next season at around the same time.
When Star Trek: Picard launched in January, expectations adjusted to expect Discovery later in the year.
However, Wilson Cruz – who plays Dr Hugh Culber in the show – said on Twitter that ‘It’s coming, but it may be a little longer than we thought…’
