Since the reboot of Supermarket Sweep on ABC, viewers have wanted to know who the new host is – taking over from 80s host David Ruprecht.
The current host is Leslie Jones, a comedian and actress most known for her time on Saturday Night Live as a cast member and writer between 2014 and 2019.
She has been featured at the Aspen Comedy Festival and the Just for Laughs Festival, and she had a comedy special called Problem Child broadcast on Showtime in 2010.
Originally named Annette, Leslie was born in Memphis and played basketball in high school due to her height of six feet tall.
After changing her major several times in college, she briefly became a radio DJ and considered playing basketball professionally overseas.
