In the episode, which aired on Monday, Ariela discovers that her partner had a serious relationship with a US woman in the past.
What’s more, he has a two year old son. The news is a shock to Ariela, who is pregnant with their child and plans to move to Ethiopia so Biniyam can be there for the birth.
Ariela’s brother Brad expresses worries that Biniyam is using his sister for a green card. Furthermore, Ariela has indicated she will not consider her partner’s religion when raising their child.
