Lucifer is a series which has proven popular with many fans from the start, and now Netflix has revealed when season 5 is coming out.
The streamer has announced that the series is making its debut for a fifth instalment on August 21, which means there is not too long left to wait.
Previous rumours about the show concerned a sixth season, as reports have been circulating that one is in the works.
Online sources have reported that Netflix was discussing a sixth batch of episodes with Warner Bros – and that Tom Ellis would be returning, although Netflix was yet to make an official announcement.
Lucifer was picked up by the streaming giant after Fox cancelled it when the third season was done. The fourth season came out on Netflix in May 2019.
