Want hours of streaming content for free? Try an Amazon Prime free trial now.
Peacock, NBCUniversal’s brand new streaming service, launched July 15th. It’s packed with thousands of hours of paid and free content, including original TV show Brave New World and the highly anticipated Psych 2: Lassie Come Home movie.
But can you watch Peacock on your Samsung TV?
There’s no Samsung Smart TV app, but there is still a way to stream Peacock content on your Samsung TV.
If your Samsung TV supports AirPlay 2, just download the Peacock app to your Apple device and create an account. Make sure your Apple device and Samsung TV are on the same Wi-Fi network. Then, start watching something and hit the AirPlay icon. Choose your Samsung TV and what you’re watching should display on your TV screen – though some people have reported difficulties using this method.
Peacock is not yet available on Amazon Fire Stick, either – though there is a similar trick you can use to watch Peacock content on a Fire TV. Peacock is fully compatible with Android, Apple and Smart TVs. It has become available on Roku from September 2020.
Also available on a standard plan for free, Peacock’s Premium plan costs $4.99, or you can opt for a commercial free experience with Peacock’s Premium ad-free plan for $9.99 a month.
