There is a new Star Wars movie on the horizon, and this title will be directed and co-written by Academy Award winner Taika Waititi.
The series will also be written by BAFTA Award winner Krysty Wilson-Cairns, who received the accolade for the film 1917.
In addition, there is an untitled Star Wars series being created for Disney Plus, and this one has Leslye Headland at the helm.
Current Star Wars series available at Disney Plus include The Mandalorian, a Cassian Andor title and one focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi.
