Work is continuing on the upcoming MCU TV show The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and that means we’ve managed to grab several sneak peeks in the last few weeks.

We’ve got a look at what seems to be an action sequence thanks to footage from the set posted on Twitter, plus apparent confirmation that Batroc the Leaper is returning from set pics featuring him.

Plus, series stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan themselves have both shared pictures that treated us to a glimpse at the Falcon’s new suit, albeit in black and white.

Now, we’ve got another preview of the show courtesy of more set pics, this time of Sebastian Stan in costume as Bucky Barnes (aka the Winter Soldier).

The pictures appeared on Just Jared, and show Stan riding a motorcycle. We can see the Winter Soldier’s signature metal arm, as well as his usual dark clothes. The most notable change in his appearance is of course the shorter hair, which has already been shown off in official promo footage and the series’ poster.

The haircut makes the character look more like the version seen in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, instead of the fearsome Winter Soldier of the MCU films since. That coupled with the replacement arm (which Bucky received in Avengers: Infinity War from Black Panther) clearly show that Bucky is continuing to recover from his time as the brainwashed super-assassin.

The pictures don’t give much else away, though we do know that Bucky has some serious motorcycle skills after the chase sequence in Captain America: Civil War. Hopefully, these pictures hint at another thrilling action sequence – but we’ll have to wait and see to find out.

Fans on social media reacted to the photos with excitement, as one tweeted ‘Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes riding a motorcycle? That’s a yes from me!!’ while another exclaimed ‘HELLO I JUST SAW SEBASTIAN STAN’.

Unfortunately, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s release has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We still don’t have a new release date, but until it finally premieres, you can catch up on the MCU with a Disney Plus subscription.

Check out the Captain America trilogy, Infinity War and Endgame to make sure you’re up to date on the stories of Falcon and the Winter Soldier ahead of the series.
