Zac Efron fans have been excited to hear about his upcoming series Killing Zac Efron on Quibi, the new mobile-focused streaming service which has launched today (April 6).

The reality show saw the actor, known for his work on High School Musical and Baywatch, fall ill while filming in Papua New Guinea.

Reports in December 2019 revealed that Efron was flown by helicopter for treatment in Australia after being suspected of contracting typhoid.

The adventure series has been described as a show where Efron goes ‘deep into the jungles of a remote, dangerous island to carve his own name in expedition history’.

While the platform is currently live, the show cannot be found at the time of writing. It’s possible that it will be out in the next few days or weeks, but we will let you know once we have the latest update.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of other Zac Efron films available to stream on Amazon Prime Video – or you may like to check out the Quibi content lineup here.
