Many of us don’t know how to choose which series to watch on Netflix, but now the streamer has come up with a solution – a scheduled TV channel.
The program is called Netflix Direct, and is a programmed channel which has a schedule that shows content for people to tune into if they please.
Netflix subscribers will be able to choose Direct when logged in and watch whatever is on, much as they would with cable.
Currently, Netflix has begun a soft rollout of the service in France, but there is not any update currently on whether it will be tested in North America and beyond.
A statement from Netflix says: ‘Many viewers like the idea of programming that doesn’t require them to choose what they are going to watch.
‘Whether you are lacking inspiration of whether you are discovering Netflix for the first time, you could let yourself be guided for the first time without having to choose a particular title and let yourself be surprised by the diversity of Netflix’s library.’
