Reports are out that a Kingdom Hearts TV series is in development with Disney Plus.

Some entertainment journalists on Twitter have announced that an adaptation is being made by Square Enix in conjunction with Unreal Engine.

Posting to Twitter on May 26, Emre Kaya said that ‘Disney originally wanted to make it but that didn’t work out.

‘This series is most likely not live-action, but CG animated. They’re currently casting.’

Skyler Shuler added that ‘Disney VO actors are expected to reprise their roles (Jim Cummings, Bill Farmer, Tony Anselmo).’

Once the series is out on Disney Plus, it can be streamed on the platform for $6.99 a month after a seven day free trial – which you can get here.
