The European launch event for Disney Plus has been cancelled after concerns about international travel while the coronavirus outbreak is ongoing.
The event, which was set to take place in the UK, was also cancelled due to a number of cancellations from the media, presumably due to similar reasons.
Disney has instead organised a Disney Plus executive press briefing for next week, which will take place via webcast.
A Disney statement reads: ‘We appreciate your understanding that this decision has been made out of an abundance of caution and everyone’s best interests in mind.’
Three international film festivals have also been cancelled due to the coronavirus threat.
