The Boys has now released season 2 on Amazon Prime Video, and the premiere has given us three new episodes – The Big Ride, Nothing Like It in the World and Proper Preparation and Planning.
The next episode which will come out is Over the Hill With the Swords of a Thousand Men, which debuts on September 11.
Following this episode, the fifth one – We Gotta Go Now – comes out on September 18. In the meantime, there is plenty to recap with the first three episodes.
The first episode sees Black Noir tear down everyone in a super-terrorist compound, with Yakin’s head taken as a souvenir. Elsewhere, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, Frenchie and Kimiko are in a pawnshop basement trying out some dubious schemes to raise the cash for new passports.
In episode 2, The Boys land a Super Terrorist, while The Deep becomes more aware of his feelings. Meanwhile, Starlight lands evidence against Vought and does Homelander have a family now?
Episode 3 sees the aftermath of Vought giving the drug Compound V to a number of victims, while they had no knowledge or consent. The episode summary on Prime Video reads: ‘If you believe that you or a loved one were administered Compound V, call the law firm of Bremmer & Bremmer…for a free legal consultation. Know your rights!’
The Boys was originally a comic book, and it can be purchased on Amazon Prime Video now. Alternatively, you can check out both seasons 1 and 2 on the streaming platform now – and there’s a 30 day free trial for new subscribers.
