Overview

Bloomberg Television (more commonly known as just Bloomberg) reaches more than 310 million homes worldwide. It is a go-to source for many households looking to stay informed on financial affairs. The channel launched in 1994 under the name Bloomberg Information TV. This was shortened to its current name in 1998.

Although no channel is perfect, Bloomberg TV is a primary source for financial news in many households. In this day and age, we are more aware than ever of being careful when it comes to finding sources for news consumption, knowing the dangers of fake news. Bloomberg has an excellent reputation for providing high-quality content that is sourced purely from facts as opposed to hearsay.

Although this is a US-based network, Bloomberg does feature relevant programming on a global scale, too. In other words, it isn’t just available in the US – there is also programming from Mexico, Malaysia, Hong Kong, London, Istanbul, Mumbai, Australia, Bulgaria and more. Many like Bloomberg’s broad mix of programs, with professional presenters looking at the world of business and finances in an insightful manner.
