Analysts have forecast that Disney Plus could hit a whopping 226 million subscribers across the globe by the end of the fiscal year 2024.
Guggenheim Securities has released a new report which has revealed this information, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Originally, their estimate was 135 million, but this figure has now skyrocketed due to subscriber numbers growing at an exponential rate.
Analyst Michael Morris raised his forecast for the streamer’s subscribers on April 13, with his estimates coming not long after news that the platform gained 50 million subscribers globally since its US launch.
Netflix has also been predicted to add followers, with Morris forecasting a jump to 292 million global subscribers by the end of 2024. This is in comparison to 167 million by the end of 2019.
